What a great example of "Plot First. Kiss Last." The adventure was so much fun from beginning to end — a female main character who steps out of her comfort zone into the unknown, spore seas that are incredibly creative and unlike anything I've read before, and twists that kept me guessing. The romance is sweet but never takes over the adventure.
