Most importantly, they must return before their coffee gets cold. Through a series of interconnected stories, the novel explores regret, love, loss, and the moments we wish we could revisit.

My Thoughts

The premise is incredibly unique, and I can absolutely understand why so many readers connect with it. Unfortunately, it just wasn't the right fit for me.

I found myself struggling to stay engaged, and despite the emotional potential of the story, I never became invested enough in the characters to keep reading. The pacing felt slower than I expected, and by about 30% I realized I was picking it up out of obligation rather than excitement.

That doesn't mean it's a bad book—it simply wasn't the right book for me at the time.

If you enjoy quiet, reflective stories that focus on emotions and relationships more than plot, I think there's a good chance you'll have a very different experience than I did.

Final Verdict

Sometimes a book simply isn't the right fit, and that's okay. While I appreciated the creative premise, I chose to stop reading because it wasn't holding my attention. I may revisit it someday, but for now it's a DNF.
